Endoscopic Forehead & Browlift

We perform Brow and Forehead Lifts to raise eyebrows and reduce lines and furrows on the forehead, thus creating a smoother, more youthful appearance.This procedure can be performed in conjunction with other surgeries.

Newer techniques now allow us to perform Forehead Lifting through small incisions in the scalp by using an Endoscope and specialized instruments.This improves the healing process.

Brow Lift Procedure

Though two small incisions within the hair line endoscope and instruments are inserted and the periosteum skipped.The forehead muscle insertions are separated and the brow is suspended using sutures.Two sutures or staples are used to close the incision.

Recovery: What to expect

Antibiotics may be prescribed for several days following surgery.Sutures/ staples are removed within one week.Swelling and some bruising may be seen, they should subside within a few weeks.Our doctors will prescribe ice compresses and eye exercises to reduce swelling and regain full function.Women will be allowed to use eye cosmetics two weeks after surgery.You can proceed with your normal daily activities within 2 weeks.A final evaluation is scheduled within several months from the initial surgical procedure.
